Andrew lay on the bed in the lab, staring up at the ceiling as Dr. Lee prepared to run an X-ray and MRI on him. His mind was swirling with fear and anxiety as he thought about what the results might show.

He knew that the accident had caused significant damage to his spinal cord and the nerves in his leg, and the possibility of being permanently confined to a wheelchair was weighing heavily on him.

"We're going to start with an x-ray of your spinal cord, to see if there's any nerve damage. Then we'll move on to an MRI, to get a more detailed picture." Dr Lee said.

As the machines hummed and whirred around him, Andrew tried to stay as still as possible, even though every fiber of his being was screaming to get up and run away from the situation. Dr. Lee's voice was reassuring, but even that wasn't enough to quell the rising panic in his chest.
