“Jan are you okay? How did it go?” Kevin asked anxiously

“As expected. The police have taken him away. The jerk didn’t know what hit him.”

He laughed. “Would have loved to see the look on his face.”

“It was worth seeing. And Rita? How was she looking when the police showed up?”

“Like she had been struck my lightening. Come over let me tell you all about it.”

“Later. I want to see my family first. Now it's over, I think it is time to let them know what happened, before they hear it elsewhere.”

“Good thinking, but you are coming over later?”

“Hmmm..?” I pretended to think.

“Please do. There is food in the house, we went shopping yesterday remember?”

I laughed. “Sure I do. And I am guessing that is the first time you have ever gone food shopping.”

“No it is not…okay maybe it is.”

I laughed harder.

“Glad you are laughing, even if it is at me. Please come. I have a surprise for you.”

“Okay. I will.”

“Good. I will see you then.”

I hung up.
