34: Learning About The Fight

Allison's POV.

I was in the middle of a debriefing with my team when my phone buzzed with a message. It was Jake, one of my most reliable agents. I quickly scanned the text, and my blood ran cold.

Jake: Allison, Edward got into a fight with Williams at his villa. Thought you should know ASAP.

I felt a mix of shock and anger rising within me. Edward and Williams? Fighting? This was unbelievable. My first instinct was to storm out and find Edward, but I forced myself to stay calm. I finished the debriefing, though my mind was elsewhere, and dismissed my team.

As soon as I was alone, I grabbed my jacket and headed straight for Edward’s apartment. I needed answers, and I needed them now.

When I arrived, I didn’t bother knocking politely. I banged on the door, my heart pounding with frustration. Edward opened the door, his expression a mix of surprise and concern.
