41: The Heights Of Deception

Allison's POV.

Rajesh had arranged for a helicopter trip to show me around his empire, and I couldn’t help but be impressed by his audacity.

The helicopter soared over the lush green landscapes and sparkling blue waters of his island.

Through the headset, Rajesh pointed out various landmarks, describing his grand plans with an obvious excitement that almost made me forget why I was here.

“That’s Rajesh Towers,” he said, his voice crackling slightly over the intercom. “It’s going to be the tallest building on the island. And over there, we’re developing a luxury resort—top of the line, nothing like it in the world.”
