Troublesome person

RODRI'S POV.

It was a hectic day, especially with the business expansion going on in Taiwan. I sat back in my chair trying to review the expenses the company had incured, all looked normal to me, although I hadn't looked into it deeply like I would like to.

I glanced at my wristwatch and it was almost 4 o' clock already, I had a zoom meeting to attend by 5 o' clock, I was torn between the idea of going home for the meeting or waiting behind at the office to attend the meeting.

Vanessa had been bugging me for some time and it was because of my late home coming, I smiled at the thought she was starting to behave like a wife.

I couldn't tell if it was her pregnancy hormones kicking in or the fact that she was about to become a mother but I was utterly grateful to whatever it was.

The blaring of the landline on my table abruptly interupted my thoughts and jolted me back to reality.
