Rodri’s Pov

Since mom left dad and I in Trinity’s room at the hospital for five whole days, I hadn’t set my eyes on her and it was bothering me, because where on earth could she have gone to?

Mom barely had friends or people she hung out with, so it was almost always just dad and I, so I was worried because dad hadn’t seen her either.

“Rodri.” Vanessa pushed me harder.

“Ohh.. I’m sorry, I turned my full attention to her. “How long have you been calling me? Are you okay? Do you need anything?” I started scanning her body with my eyes.

She shook her head. “I’m fine, but you’re not and I’m worried about you Rodri.”

When was Vanessa ever going to stop calling me Rodri? When would she ever accept me as her lover and not just a baby daddy? I knew I set those boundaries but I didn’t want them anymore. She was more important than whatever useless boundaries I set.
