Chapter 33

Arianna woke up from her sleep. Gathering her full consciousness, she blinked a few times. When her eyes opened completely and she realized what was happening to her, she screamed immediately. Her scream not only woke up Samuel but also startled him, who was sleeping beside her.

"Arianna, why are you screaming? It must be too early, geez!" complained Samuel with his eyes still closed.

"Samuel! Why were you hugging me?"

At that moment, Samuel opened his eyes. Slowly surveying the surroundings, he responded casually, "Are you sane?"

"What do you mean?"

"You were the one hugging me, not the other way around. Your leg was still on top of me. Besides, look at your sleeping position; you're lying right in my territory."

Arianna immediately lowered her leg from on top of Samuel. She protested but didn't realize that her own leg had invaded someone else's body. After getting up, she could clearly see that what Samuel said was indeed true.
