"ARIANNA!"

The call echoed loudly as Arianna had just set foot in the lobby of PAsific Palace. When she turned, the slender woman found Chacha rushing towards her with slightly labored breath.

Instantly, Arianna was puzzled, wondering why Chacha was running towards her so early in the morning. Was there something urgent, or perhaps a deadline that her friend needed to convey immediately?

"What's going on? Why are you running like that?" Arianna asked, bewildered.

"Where have you been? Why did you just arrive this late in the morning? I've been looking for you everywhere since earlier. Plus, I couldn't reach you on your phone!" Chacha exclaimed.

Arianna laughed. Today, she was indeed late as she had a task from Samuel to handle some business outside. Because she forgot to charge her phone last night, the smart device died on her way to the office.

There, she found Samuel, who was also sitting casually while waiting for the next order from her mother."What are we actually going to do again, sir?" Arianna asked curiously. Since earlier, she had been busy lookin

Arianna gazed in awe at her reflection in the mirror. Wearing a white A-line dress with a hint of lace on the surface, paired with matching pump shoes on her slender legs, elevated Arianna's beauty to a whole new level. What added to her stunning appearance was the skillfully applied makeup that perfectly complemented her facial contours. To top it off, her hair was styled in a deliberately crafted twisted braid.Arianna Grey could hardly recognize herself at this moment. Indeed, she looked like the princesses from fairy tales she often read and watched. Even Laila, her foster mother, was amazed, not expecting her ward to look so different from before."Your daughter is exceptionally beautiful. Lucky Mr. Samuel is marrying you, Arianna."Arianna then turned to Laila, smiling and extending her arms, inviting her foster mother for a hug."Mama," Arianna called affectionately, "Arianna is really nervous."For this, Arianna was not exaggerating. Despite her relationship with Samuel being

"Arianna, wake up."Arianna immediately wriggled as her faint senses captured a familiar voice. Slowly opening her eyes, the fair-skinned woman was startled to find Samuel staring at her from such a close distance. If Arianna made a wrong move, their faces could easily collide. Moreover, she wondered why Samuel had awakened her so early when she was still sleepy."SAMUEL!"Arianna exclaimed, using both of her hands to push her husband's body slightly away."Arianna, no need to shout. I'm not deaf.""You scared me. Why did you wake me up with your face so close?"Samuel let out a loud sigh. There must be a reason for what he did."I've been calling you for a while, and you didn't wake up. You've been sleeping like a log.""Come on! No log looks as beautiful as me."Samuel narrowed his eyes sharply, annoyed by Arianna's excessive self-confidence."Besides, it's already past eight. It's not good for a girl to wake up so late. No wonder you're not rich. Your luck ran out when you were bit

At exactly six in the morning, Arianna suddenly woke up from her sleep. As she turned to her left, she found a rare sight that she might see for the next year. There was Samuel, still deep in sleep. Lying on his side, hugging a pillow, directly facing her. After a lively debate the previous night about sleeping boundaries, they finally decided that Arianna would take the right side of the bed, not far from the window. Meanwhile, Samuel got the spot on the left, conveniently next to the electrical outlet to charge his phone. They both also agreed on the consequences if either of them crossed the limits, especially if it involved any unauthorized physical contact. This was done to ensure that neither of them acted arbitrarily or behaved disrespectfully."Let's see who will be the first to break the rules," Samuel said mockingly."It's probably going to be you. It's written all over your smug face," retorted Arianna fiercely.Samuel rolled his eyes disdainfully. He was annoyed at Arianna

"Sir, I've completed and organized all the reports. Is there anything else I should do after this?" Arianna asked while she was in Samuel's office."Nothing else. I'll check each one later. Thank you for your help.""If that's it, I'd like to leave a bit early today. I have permission to visit the orphanage, and I might be back late."Arianna intentionally focused on finishing her work at the office throughout the day. Not having seen her siblings and foster mother for a while, she planned to visit them after work.As her current status was Samuel's wife, Arianna needed to ask for permission. Just in case, so Samuel wouldn't look for her if she came home late."I'm afraid not," Samuel replied. He stopped typing on his laptop keyboard, raised his face, and looked at Arianna intently. "I won't allow you to go out tonight."Arianna immediately frowned. She was ready to voice her protest, but she refrained from doing so, realizing she was in the office.Arianna took several deep breaths,

"JOSHUA!"The shout echoed, filling the entire makeup room. Valerie was staring angrily at the tablet she held.A few minutes ago, she intended to read the latest fashion news in Asia, especially in Indonesia. Her eyes suddenly froze when she unintentionally saw a banner on a news portal reporting the wedding plans of a well-known entrepreneur who seemed very familiar to her. In addition, there were several intimate photos of the couple. Even though the woman's face was not very clear, Valerie definitely knew who the man was."This can't be! It must be a mistake," Valerie muttered repeatedly. She kept denying what she had just read.Meanwhile, Joshua, the manager whose name had just been called, immediately approached. Wearing a puzzled expression, he approached."Why, Valerie? Why are you screaming like that?"Valerie immediately turned. With an intense gaze, she pointed to the tablet screen she was holding."Don't tell me you don't know about this news?"Joshua pulled a confused fac

A week passed smoothly in Samuel and Arianna's marriage, without any major obstacles. Despite occasional arguments and debates, they managed to resolve everything quickly, sometimes dismissing them as trivial. This morning, as usual before heading to work, Arianna prepared her own breakfast. Meanwhile, Samuel was sitting, engrossed in his tablet, perhaps reading business news or examining daily stock graphs."Samuel, finish your breakfast quickly," Arianna urged. She didn't like it when her husband, who also happened to be her boss, frequently yelled at her not to be late when the main cause of their tardiness was Samuel himself."Just a moment, Arianna. Can't you see? I'm reading the news," Samuel replied."If we're late this morning, be prepared to hear constant complaints and blame from me."Samuel glanced up, took the glass of milk in front of him, and slowly sipped the drink Arianna had prepared. He enjoyed it peacefully, then responded to his wife's remark."Besides, why do you

"You and mom just can't be reconciled, huh? Dangerous!"After showering and getting ready to dress, Samuel was heard grumbling again. He was still annoyed because his day had been disturbed by his mother. It wasn't just a problem when they were at the restaurant. Even after returning to the office, Arabella continued to misbehave, leaving Samuel frustrated and unable to do anything."Sam, you and Arianna have been married for a week, so when are you going to give Mom grandchildren?"Samuel, who had just sat down in a meeting room chair at that moment, immediately looked up. He gave a horrified look at his mother, who was currently giving him a deadly stare. Samuel hoped desperately that he would yield and surrender as usual."Samuel and Arianna just got married, Mom. Can't you give us some time to enjoy ourselves? Besides, Samuel still needs to focus on the transition to his new position he just got this year," he explained. Why didn't he anticipate this issue when planning his marria

During Arianna's first delivery, Arabella was visibly excited, eagerly awaiting and welcoming the birth of her grandchild. This time, however, Darwin and Randy were the ones filled with enthusiasm over the birth of Samuel and Arianna's twin babies. It all started with Samuel assigning his two cousins the task of naming their newly born son and daughter. Samuel and Arianna were indeed grateful because their children were born as twins and even had matching genders. "So, have you got the names for the babies yet?" Samuel asked. At the moment, both cousins along with other family members were gathered in the hospital room. Even Rama was present at the hospital. He happened to have a task that brought him to Indonesia for a few days. Upon hearing from Arabella that Arianna had just given birth, he hurriedly visited with his mother. After being given a few hours to think, Randy, who was sitting, immediately looked up. Standing up, he then approached Samuel. "I've got one, not sure abo

In the car on the way to somewhere, Samuel laughed loudly. He chuckled to himself after listening to his wife's story, who intended to retaliate against Randy. Samuel didn't object at all. He thought his cousin needed to be taught a lesson once in a while to learn his lesson. "I can't imagine how annoyed Randy's face must be, having to treat and unwillingly pay for the orders I've already placed," Arianna exclaimed, continuing to laugh. "You're absolutely right." "Let it be! He brought it on himself by being mischievous. Besides, it's nothing compared to what he's done to me countless times. It's also a good deed. We'll donate the food to the orphanage," Arianna replied without feeling any remorse. Then she shifted the topic by asking Samuel something else. "By the way, where are you taking me? I've been wondering for a while now." Samuel glanced briefly, smiling as he answered his wife's curiosity. "I'm planning to surprise you," he said, keeping his focus on the road ahead. "A

Upon realizing she had been blatantly deceived by Randy, the next day Arianna invited Samuel's cousin to have lunch together. With the intention of seeking direct clarification and giving a lengthy lecture on what he had done to her. That's why, after dropping Kalvin off at Arabella's house, Arianna hurried to her husband's office first. Upon arrival, she chose to wait for a moment in Samuel's room because he was currently attending a meeting with other Pacific executives. "After a more in-depth evaluation, there are no longer any obstacles found in this project. I think, going forward, we just need to monitor the progress of the tower construction and then discuss it again. Randy seemed serious as he presented and led the meeting today. While Samuel, from his seat, observed. Occasionally noting the important points conveyed by his cousin. "From our side, there are no issues or matters that need clarification at all, Mr. Randy," replied Agatha, who was attending the meeting today.

Since the unclear argument that happened last night, this morning Arianna continued her silent treatment. Despite still serving and even preparing breakfast for her husband, she did everything in silence. As a result, Samuel, unable to stand being ignored any longer, immediately confronted her. Seeking to ascertain what was really going on with his wife. "Honey..." called out Samuel. His usually firm voice sounded gentle this morning. Yet deep down, he was also frustrated at being ignored by his wife for too long. "Are you tired of being angry and ignoring me all the time? If I've done something wrong, I genuinely apologize," pleaded the man. He continued to gaze intently at Arianna, who was busy pouring milk into her glass. Today, Samuel didn't have to work as it coincided with a holiday. He had plans to take his wife out. However, seeing Arianna still angry since last night, Samuel was puzzled on how to persuade her. "I'm not angry," replied Arianna. Meeting his gaze, she spoke

Arianna knew that her relationship with Samuel had started accidentally. It began with a plan to secure a big tender while deceiving Arabella, and they agreed to a contractual marriage. Over time, love grew between them. Samuel was even the first person to declare his love for the woman he had married. They both promised to take their marriage seriously, to care for each other, to support and complement each other, to stay together faithfully until the end of their lives. Seeing Samuel's sincerity, love, and affection over the years, Arianna doubted that her husband was up to something behind her back. However, after noticing several oddities and Samuel's increasingly strange behavior, Arianna decided to find out what was really going on. Arianna had every reason to be suspicious. Samuel's recent movements only added to her concerns. Like detectives in movies, Arianna sought Randy's help to tail her husband, who was heading somewhere unknown. From the office, they cautiously follow

"If you look at it, land preparation and access roads are not a problem anymore. I'm optimistic that this project can be completed within a maximum period of 2 years," Samuel said, currently discussing in the meeting room with Randy and Agatha. They were indeed in a discussion, talking about the apartments and shopping center that would soon be built. All three of them looked serious, exchanging ideas to be evaluated later. Agatha, starting to feel comfortable at Pasific, didn't miss a chance to hear how Samuel presented his ideas briefly. Agatha had to admit, her ex-boyfriend was very credible in carrying out his tasks and responsibilities. Agatha was even impressed by Samuel's demeanor, always serious in giving explanations. "When the towers here are completed, the next step will be the groundbreaking for the tower in Singapore, right?" Agatha asked to confirm. "Yes, that's correct," Samuel nodded. "That means our team will take turns staying in Singapore." Agatha smiled widely

Arianna watched her husband carefully as he enjoyed his breakfast. Since last night, she couldn't stop thinking. Where did Samuel go, actually? He claimed to be going out and wanted to meet Randy to discuss something. But, when directly asked, Randy himself didn't seem to know anything about it. He even insisted that he was at home because he had just returned from the office. So, did Samuel lie to her? But why? Why did her husband have to lie like that? Because of what happened last night, negative thoughts immediately flooded her mind. Full of questions, she pondered what Samuel was hiding because his behavior had been very strange lately. "Sweetheart," Arianna spoke up after taking a sip of warm milk from the glass she held. "Yes, what is it, honey?" Samuel replied, smiling at Arianna and waiting for her to speak. "Is there anything you want to tell me or talk about?" she asked cautiously, her words inviting questions in Samuel's mind. "Talk? About what?" he asked, puzzled by

"Finally, you're back here, Mrs. Agatha. Mr. Samuel and I hope that for the next two months, you'll be comfortable here in Indonesia and the Pacific," Randy warmly greeted Agatha as she returned to Indonesia. While discussing project schedules, he occasionally threw jokes to lighten the atmosphere. "Thank you very much for the warm welcome, Mr. Randy and Mr. Samuel. I'm truly delighted to be back here and working on projects with great people like both of you," replied Agatha with a smile. Her gaze didn't stray from the figure of the man in the gray suit, who was none other than Samuel. He was the one she wanted to meet at the company. Samuel reciprocated with an equally friendly smile. After Randy, it was his turn to speak. "I hope that during the project execution and supervision process, there won't be any significant obstacles or difficulties. Even if there are any problems or something that needs consultation later on, don't hesitate to ask for help from me, Mr. Randy, or any

Entering the eighth month of pregnancy, Arianna's belly was noticeably large. Fortunately, in this final trimester, she still had the freedom to engage in many activities. Despite feeling tired more quickly, she still enjoyed everything she did. Besides, it would be boring to just sit around or spend a lot of time watching TV and lounging in the room as Samuel often suggested."I think you should just stay home and enjoy some me-time. Whether it's watching Korean dramas, relaxing while snacking, or inviting someone over. Ask Chacha or Madam Laila to accompany you for a chat rather than going out alone," her husband often said.Arianna had heard this sentence many times from her husband's mouth. Somehow, in this second pregnancy, Samuel's worries were evident from the beginning."If I stay at home all the time, I'll get bored, Sam. I want to go to the office or go out. Spend time outside," Arianna replied.
