Chapter Four: Humiliation

Gu Yan bites her teeth with tears. She crouches to pick up the sweater, cleans it and folds it up carefully.

“I won’t put it on. What’s the use of treasuring it?” Wen Yunfeng sneers.

“It is not for you. I bought it for my colleague.” Gu Yan tries hard to hold back her tears. She holds the sweater in her arms and shows an indifference expression: “I will go now if you have no other things.”

After saying this, one of her hands is pulled over by Wen Yunfeng with strength. A sudden dizziness overpowers, Gu Yan is pulled into the room rudely and thrown onto bed heavily.

Before Gu Yan has the time to struggle, Wen Yunfeng bends over and depresses her under the body. His evil lips and alienated eyes are full of sneer: “Which colleague of you? Why is such a coincidence? He has the same size, and even the same favorite color as me.”

The face which has appeared in Gu Yan’s dreams for numerous times is nearing at hand now. It’s a pity that Gu Yan doesn’t feel any excitement or sweet, but only dense aversion.

“Go away! Release me!” Gu Yan keeps on pushing and beating Wen Yunfeng on his body. The bed she observes just now is full of briefs for man and woman, which gives her a disgusting feeling of soiling herself.

The sofas, floors and coffee tables in the room are scattered by the littered tissues, and the clothes are in a mess. All visible scenes show how crazy and dissolute they have been here. The smell is simply disgusting to her.

Just at that time, she was expecting her husband would go home happily.

Gu Yan, how silly you are...

On seeing that Gu Yan turns aside and begins to vomit, Wen Yunfeng shows a flash of rage on his face. He catches her hands overhead, bends over to kiss her lips. It is useless despite Gu Yan sips her lips closely, because Wen Yunfeng pinches her jaw and kisses her with force.

Thinking that Wen Yunfeng’s mouth has a residue of another woman’s smell, Gu Yan’s stomach is tumbling heavily, and she tries to struggle crazily.

Until Gu Yan is kissed out of breath, Wen Yunfeng raises his head. He wipes the glittering saliva on mouth corners with his hand, and looks at her interestingly: “Aren’t you looking for making love with me? Why did you revolt so heavily? Aren’t you active in front of other men?”

Gu Yan has no time to give him a reply, she just turns her head and vomits hardly. Her tears flow over her face because of a conditioned reflex. After vomiting, Gu Yan feels to have no strength all over her body, she raises her head and stares at Wen Yunfeng stubbornly: “Release me”.

“Yech, black bra. You are so open in front of other men. Why do you pretend to be a chase and undefiled heroine in front of me?” In saying these humiliation words frivolously, Wen Yunfeng stretches out two fingers to push aside her blouse. On seeing the necklace around Gu Yan’s neck, his sneer is more scornful.

“You said you didn’t take the necklace. Originally you wear it. Don’t you think I bought it for you? You bought the sweater for me because you want to make love with me.” Wen Yunfeng sneers and touches her cheek: “Gu Yan, you are so cheap.”

“Wen Yunfeng, you are a beast.” Gu Yan finally can’t help yelling at him with red eyes, and her tears burst out like breaching of the dike.

It seems that Wen Yunfeng hasn’t heard it. He smiles and peels off her clothes, bends over her neck. His wet tongue drills into her ears in whirling. The swishing sound makes all hairs on her body stiff.

“Get out, Wen Yunfeng. Don’t touch me.” Gu Yan screams in fear and she struggles desperately. However, both of her hands and feet are controlled. She is unable to get rid of his control no matter what she does.

The man is no longer a person caring and protecting her in the past. He has become a terrible demon. Since she engaged in surrogacy to save the Wen family two years ago, he has always treated her with sneering and humiliating sights. No matter what she does, she is always confronted by coldness and isolation, without any caring and love. All beautiful scenes are just her imaginations because she is unable to let go the past experience.

For the Wen family, she has swallowed all sufferings and miseries. However, in Wen Yunfeng’s eyes, she is only a vain woman being abandoned after delivering a child, a woman for other men to have fun. Probably, even a prostitute is cleaner than her.

“You are my wife. Why couldn’t I touch you? Could it be that your body can only be used to serve other men?” Wen Yunfeng’s eyes show more ruthlessness in saying these words. He appears a sarcastic smile and his hands tear Gu Yan’s clothes roughly.

“When the Wen family collapsed, you went to flatter another rich man like a bitch and even deliver a child for him. If the Wen family hasn’t revived, will you come back?”

Wen Yunfeng’s words dim the glories in Gu Yan’s eyes. She no longer struggles, but lies on the bed, and watches the ceiling torpidly, showing silently dead eyes.

She has done enough for the man. However, she is desperate today...

Everything will never return...

Nothing is more lamentable than a dead heart. Before eliminating all clothes of Gu Yan, Wen Yunfeng finds that Gu Yan has been similar to a dead body. No freshness can be felt.

He stops uninterestingly. Without glancing at the downhearted Gu Yan, he gets up and puts on his clothes, sneering at her: “I’d better find a prostitute. At least, the prostitute hasn’t had a child. Get out.”

When he finishes the last two words, Gu Yan stands up from the messy bed torpidly and puts on her clothes one by one, lifeless just as a dead body.

Wen Yunfeng glances at her and has a ray of unclear glow in eyes, commanding her coldly: “Come to work on time tomorrow.”

After neatening all her clothes, Gu Yan walks out of the room without saying a word. She could no longer speak out the secret which has been buried in her heat, just let it rot in the heart forever, just as her love...
