Mara's Pov

I gazed at Dylan as he asked for a chance to love me right, his eyes are genuine and I can feel he has waited so long for this moment.

Truth is, I don't know what the future holds for us if I accept to give him a chance, but you'll never know if you didn't, right?

I offered him a warm smile, gazing deep into his eyes. "I'll love to try," I muttered, crashing my lips on his again.

We both kissed like we've been starved of this moment for way too long, our lips locked together as we deepened the kiss.

As we stopped kissing, Dylan pulled me into a warm hug, holding me tightly. "Thank you, Mara, for giving us a chance," he whispered into my ears, his tone soothing and calm.

My eyes watered, if anyone should be grateful, it should be me. Dylan was patient enough all these years even when I treated him badly.

"No, I should be thankful that you were patient with me and didn't give up on your love for me," I muttered.

He smiles warmly at me, his eyes sparkling.
