Chapter 89

[Flashback to Rory's Point of View]

"Come back right away. I'm going to bring food for breakfast. You haven't eaten anything since yesterday," Kairos reminded me which made me stop walking away from him.

I made up my mind after I got that call from him while he was on his way here. I will do everything that I can to run away from him and that decision of mine will never change. There is nothing he can do that will make me change my mind.

He is obsessive and I believe that there is no way he'll suddenly change. Once he is sure that he has me on his palm, he will once again show his true color. The Kairos that I ran away from will once again show themselves.

"I'm not hungry. I'm on a strict diet---,"

"You will still eat, Rory. Because if you don't, I will lock you here. You know what will happen next." I don't know if he's trying to scare or warn me. Either of those two, I was unaffected by both, I made sure that I looked like that though it felt like I was trembling internally.

Kairos
