Chapter 95

Isla's Point of View.

I watched his car drive away making me shut my eyes. My hands moved on their own to go ahead and try to stop his car from leaving but no words accompanied that and so I was left unnoticed.

"Shit!" I muttered to myself. Pacing back and forth in front of the door. I wonder what would happen after this.

Things aren't supposed to be this way. I didn't bring that up to offend him in any way and he should know that.

I was on the verge of getting my phone out of the pocket of my flap bag to give him a call for I don't want to spend another moment having this petty argument with him. I'll ask him to come back and apologize when the front door suddenly opened.

Kairos's mother popped right behind me wearing a warm smile while she was eyeing the very same path that his son had taken when he drove away from me.

Panic is barely visible in my eyes. I looked behind her to check if there was someone else behind her and I started to wonder if she heard us having that argumen
