I bit my lower lip. I am starting to feel guilty because I act like a crazy wife. I don't want to confront him about this, but I don't want this to bother me anymore.

"I don't know anymore, Nicholas. It feels like you are hiding a lot from me. I only wanted to come back to the Philippines for a quick vacation. It's not like we will move back, but you are so against the idea as if there's something in that place that you are hiding from me." I stared earnestly.

Nicholas pulled me for a hug. Even though I tried to push him away, he didn't budge and only tightened his hug on me. I felt him kiss my head, but that didn't stop me from tearing up.

"I don't have another family or wife back in the Philippines. Beryl and you. You are the only family that I have." Nicholas whispered.
