Isla's Point of View.

My eyes widened immediately after I walked out of the comfort room and I found Kairos standing in front of it and was about to knock on the door.

I cleared my throat and slowly pulled myself together in a way that he wouldn't realize how surprised I was to see him here. I pulled the door behind me to close it. I can't risk him seeing Rory inside.

"What are you doing here? You could have waited for me outside."

Kairos smiled confusedly while he was staring intently at me, asking if I have forgotten something.

Good God! What did Rory tell him? The conversation that he had with my look-alike is one of a bunch of things that I'll never find out unless he has a slip of the tongue and tells me.

"But you are the one who told me to wait for you here," he said which made me shut my eyes for a quick second.
