Derrick finally got off the stage and walked towards Vesa who had just put down his glass. He approached Vesa with a complicated expression and made everyone in the building unable to take their eyes off Derrick.
"Tell me, Vesa. Where did you get this watch?" Derrick repeated, clutching the watch.
Derrick's father and his wife followed his son and stood behind Derrick.
Vesa was about to answer but then Alea nudged his arm. She said, "Answer it quickly, why are you silent?"
Vesa rolled his eyes in annoyance. That girl was really very rude.
I was about to answer but you cut me off instead, Vesa thought annoyed.
"I ...."
Vesa's words were cut off again.
"Jesus, what has this friend of ours given us? Oh my God, my friends. Vesa gave Derrick an old watch. Is that second hand? You're crazy, huh. How can you give your friend a second hand?" Sebastian shook his head in disbelief.
The young man deliberately cut off Vesa's words which he thought were unimportant. The man looked at Vesa condescendingly and everyone started shouting as if they agreed with Sebastian's words.
Derrick ignored his best friend and instead said, "Vesa, don't you want to answer my question?"
Vesa sighed and glanced to his right and left waiting to see if anyone would interrupt his while he was talking. After making sure no one else wanted to talk, he answered, "I accidentally saw you throw the watch away when you were so angry and I took it. I wanted to return it straight away because it might be valuable to you but because I saw your watch was broken so I tried to fix it first before handing it over to you. I'm so sorry if you don't like it."
Derrick fell silent and Sebastian then burst out laughing.
"Crazy. So you gave Derrick's watch that he threw away? You are. You really are a disgrace. Gosh, Vesa. I don't know if you're really that pathetic," Sebastian said again.
Alea who was laughing too said, "You're right, Sebastian. Vesa had absolutely no intention of giving Derrick a present. The truth is, the junk watch that had been thrown away was returned again. You're shameless, aren't you?"
Alea sneered.
Junk watch? Derrick thought.
His heart heated up hearing his friends say that. Derrick unexpectedly by his friends instead said, "Shut up, you guys!"
Derrick then drew closer to Vesa and immediately hugged Vesa. Everyone in the building was shocked when they saw Derrick who even looked so happy while hugging the young man.
"Vesa, thank you very much. Thank you. Just so you know, this watch is my grandfather's most valuable legacy to me. At that time I was angry with him and then I threw it away. I regret throwing it away and trying to find it again but I can't find it. I've been so frustrated looking for it, but it turns out you've found it."
Derrick let go of his embrace and then he gripped the watch with a bright smile on his face. The young man even looked happier than when he received gifts from his other friends.
"Thank you for keeping it and fixing it for me. This is the best gift I've ever received on my birthday today," Derrick said sincerely.
Derrick's parents also thanked Vesa. The watch was not a luxury watch but it meant a lot to Derrick because it was the last gift from his grandfather before his grandfather died.
Alea and Sebastian were speechless after seeing all that. Derrick then behaved even more friendly throughout the party to Vesa and this of course made Alea very annoyed with the young man.
She who still couldn't accept it then had a cunning plan and got out of the building. She looked for Vesa's shabby car and then walked towards it.
"Okay, then safe driving your car, Vesa Araya." Alea made Vesa's car tire flat. The girl smiled cheerfully and went back into the building. She pretended to be like she didn't do anything.

Vesa sighed in annoyance when he saw the flat tire of his car. He thought of a way to solve the problem and immediately contacted the nearest repair shop but unfortunately no one wanted to fix the car tires because it was late at night.
Most of his friends had gone home and only a few people were still in the building. Vesa then intended to call his grandfather but considering his old grandfather, he couldn't bear to bother him in the middle of the night like that.
Alea who saw Vesa confused of course smiled sweetly and then walked over to the young man.
"Uh, what happened to your favorite shabby car? Wow, did the tire leak?" Alea asked in her relaxed tone.
Vesa tried hard to make himself patient.
"You shouldn't have come to this event earlier. Why are you trying to force yourself to attend a party that doesn't belong to your class?" Alea said and she again brought their social status.
Vesa really didn't understand why his beautiful classmate who he also liked so disliked him that much. He tried to think about it, but the young man thought that he had never done anything wrong to her.
"Do you have a very much leisure time that you take the time to talk to me even in the middle of the night?" Vesa said calmly.
Alea glared. "You. Who do you think you are? Accusing me like that? Completely ignorant."
Vesa didn't want to respond anymore so he stuck his head out and looked around for the building clerk. He would leave the car in the building and would pick it up tomorrow morning.
"Vesa. Why are you so annoying?" Alea said again.
Vesa was tired but the handsome young man turned his head, "Alea, don't you hate me so much? So wouldn't it be better if you never talk to me again? Why do you always bother me?"
Alea was so shocked that she didn't know how to respond.
"Could it be that this is just your excuse when in fact you like me but pretend to hate me? Is that so?" Vesa urged as he looked at the girl with a sharp gaze that made Alea flabbergasted.
Alea was still silent and unable to get the words out. Her throat was so tight that she couldn't make a sound.
"What's all the fuss in here?" asked Derrick White had just exited the building and was walking towards them.
Derrick was surprised to see Vesa and Alea glaring at each other as if they were having a big fight.
"What happened? Are you two fighting again? Alea, are you bothering him again?" Derrick accused which immediately made Alea turn to her best friend.
Derrick White was staring at her intently.
"Oh no, Derrick. Do you want to defend him now? Do you consider him a friend now?" Alea asked with a look of disbelief.
"So what's wrong with that? Aren't we in the same class? That means we're all friends, right?" Derrick said casually. Alea was shocked. She kept her mouth shut, not knowing how to comment on Derrick's words. Alea couldn't possibly dare to argue with Derrick because Derrick's social status was the same as her. She didn't want to get into trouble with the young man because she didn't want the big name of her family to be dragged into it. Therefore Alea could only stomp her feet in annoyance before stepping away from the area. Derrick heaved a sigh of relief after the girl was finally out of sight. The man with blonde hair turned to Vesa, "Vesa, I'll take you home. I'll call the repair shop person to take care of your car. When it's done, it will be delivered directly to your house." Vesa was surprised because this he thought was very strange. It was a rare thing for Derrick White to want to talk to him, because the son from a rich family almost never wanted to talk to people from
"Stop it, Sebastian!" Derrick shouted who was suddenly standing behind Sebastian. "Why should I stop?" Sebastian said. He didn't loosen his grip on Vesa's neck. "Let go of him or I ...." Derrick's voice was filled with pressure that sounded like a threat. Unfortunately, Sebastian didn't listen and instead grabbed Vesa's neck even more. Vesa tried to free himself but of course failed, Sebastian gripped him so tightly that the young man was having a hard time breathing. Alea who witnessed that suddenly got goosebumps. She did hate Vesa but she didn't want Vesa to die. "Sebastian Wright, let him go!" Derrick shouted. Sebastian still ignored him. Derrick saw Vesa's pale face, Derrick then pulled the Hoodie jacket that Sebastian was wearing along with Alea which turned out to be pushing Sebastian. Sebastian fell hard from the push. Alea was surprised by her own actions. Sebastian looked at her in disbelief. Derrick helped Vesa who was very weak from almost out of breath. S
Vesa had let Sebastian go and the man had disappeared from their sight. At this moment some of Vesa's classmates were looking at him with strange looks that Vesa didn't understand. Vesa turned around to face Derrick. He exhaled slowly. He's finished now. He had just wanted to make a good impression on Derrick by fighting Sebastian but it seemed the opposite had happened. He had given Derrick and his friends a bad impression of him being out of control. "I'm fine," Vesa said. The man lowered his head slightly. He thought he would lose a friend who wasn't even officially his friend yet. "That's good then. Do you want to go to the cafeteria first? You seem to need a drink," Derrick said. "Huh!?" Vesa raised his head in surprise. Uh, did he hear wrong, didn't he? Derrick White took him to the cafeteria? Vesa thought in confused. "Why are you still silent? Let's go to the cafeteria first!" Derrick invited him again. Derrick who saw Vesa still silent like an idiot then drag
The end of semester exams were over, it was time for Vesa to carry out the plan that he had been working on for a long time. He had been waiting for this day for a long time. He would soon find a job to earn money for his trip to Indonesia. As far as Vesa was concerned, during the holiday period, many shops opened part-time or temporary job vacancies. He knew it's not easy to get a job with a high school diploma but he's going to try anyway. The young man stepped cheerfully out of the campus building. Vesa was alone this time. Derrick White, who had been his best friend for almost a month, went home first. Derrick was invited by his father to visit his relatives who were being treated at Fulham. Vesa walked while playing on his cellphone to the bus stop not far from campus. However, that day seemed to be an unlucky day for him because suddenly, just as he was about to cross, he was pulled by two people he didn't know. One of them covered his mouth and dragged him by force into
Vesa Araya had actually sent those two useless creatures to the boss who had ordered them. They rang the Wrights' doorbell with trembling hands and immediately got an answer from the security guard in charge of the house. "Good morning, I'd like to drop off a package for Young Master Wright," said the nervously speaking blonde. "Oh, okay. Just a minute, I'll open it," said the security guard. "I'm sorry, but Young Master Wright must take this package himself," the black haired man continued as he was already breaking out in a cold sweat. He occasionally looked back and immediately cursed in his heart because the poor man was still standing nearby, watching them with his cold gaze. "Wait a minute! Who is the sender of this package?" the security guard asked suspiciously and he still hadn't opened the door for the people who delivered the package. "Oh, this is from Mr White, I mean Young Master White, Young Master Wright's best friend," the blonde one replied. The security
Vesa Araya was staring blankly at Derrick White who was smiling innocently at him. "Derrick, I told you this wasn't a vacation. Why are you even taking strangers along?" Vesa said in a little annoyed. "I didn't invite strangers. I only took two of my best friends. This is Lucas and this one is Lay, they are twins," Derrick said, who again showed his innocent face when introducing them. Vesa spun the ball lazily. Of course he immediately knew Derrick's two friends were twins. How not if the two were very similar like betel nut halved. They also wore the exact same clothes even the same color. The accessories were the same, plus their suitcases were the same. Vesa was very surprised, why were there two adult humans who still want to dress up like that? Oh, come on. They were indeed twins, but was it necessary to have to wear the same clothes like that? Well, twins were always cute in Vesa's eyes, but they must be twenty years old, right? It's very strange to still maintain the
"When are you retiring, Ruslan?" Valentino asked. "I will never retire. Aren't you tired of asking that a thousand times, Sir?" Ruslan asked back. Valentino sighed. Ruslan just stood silently behind his Master whom he had served for over twenty-five years. "I just want you to rest, Ruslan. You're not young anymore. You need time for yourself," Valentino said, not wanting to give up. "I am almost sixty years old but my abilities have not decreased, Master. You must know about it too," Ruslan said stubbornly. "You ... huh, when did you stop worrying about me? Many other bodyguards can protect me. You can't push yourself anymore. You've done too much for me," Valentino said. His face looked sad. "Master, I already told you that I will never retire. I will look after you till I die. I made a promise after you helped me. Sir, please allow me to accompany you until death. Because that is my way of thanking you." Valentino apparently could not get the man who was several years o
In the end, Derrick booked a king-size room with two beds. He happily took a picture of it and sent it to his father. Oh, finally Vesa understood. Why didn't he think more? Of course, a Derrick White wouldn't be willing to stay in a cheap hotel. Because it would make his friend's self-esteem fall. After all, staying in a seven-star hotel for months too, the White family's money would not run out. Derrick did not stop photographing every part of the room and then said, "Come on, together!" Vesa rolled his eyes lazily. He also just remembered, Derrick loved to show off anything on his personal social media. "Vesa, come on. Don't be so excited!" Derrick pulled Vesa's hand who could only surrender. He thought there was nothing wrong with making Derrick happy, after all he was able to get to Indonesia too thanks to his friend. "It's great in here. The lighting is perfect, Derrick." Lucas was standing by the balcony. Derrick smiled and immediately took a photo there. The four yout

Gea's body looks so terrible. Her chest was stabbed with a knife and foam was coming out of his mouth and his eyes were open. Vesa immediately ordered, "Call the police now." Inka covered her face because she couldn't see it. Vesa immediately hugged the girl so that Inka wouldn't be afraid. "Who killed her? It was too cruel, Vesa. It was terrible," said the girl in a trembling voice. "We'll find out soon, let the police handle it," said Vesa. Not long after that the police came and immediately investigated the case. "Would you two come with us to the police station to testify?" asked the police officer. "Yes," Vesa replied. Vesa also invited Inka to join the police chief. Vesa and Inka had to be at the police station for at least two hours to testify. And when he finished and left the interrogation room, he saw Lara, Gea's daughter, coming to the police station with a face full of tears. "Have you found the culprit? Please tell me who killed my mother?" Lara screamed hysteri
"I don't hate you, Alea. It's just that you've gone too far," said Vesa. He then took Lara away from there. Alea shouted, "Vesa." Vesa ignored her. Alea could only bite her lower lip bitterly. Vesa didn't want to have anything to do with him anymore. The young man must have been so disgusted with him. Alea grabbed her hair and left the campus because she couldn't stand the sight of the students looking at her with strange looks. On the other hand, Vesa said quietly, "I'm sorry. Because of me, you became ....""It's okay. Well, by the way I have to go now, I think my friend has come," Lara said then. Vesa nodded slowly, still feeling so guilty. Once the girl left, he chose to change his plans. He couldn't possibly use Lara to trap Gea. The girl didn't know anything. For some reason, he felt that Lara was an innocent girl. Therefore he decided to attack Gea without involving Lara. That evening he returned to his house and immediately spoke to Inka, "I met Gea's daughter. Inka, we
In just no less than thirty seconds, Stefan sent a photo as soon as Vesa turned off his phone. Vesa calmly opened the message and smiled crookedly as soon as he saw the photo. Got you, Gea. Vesa thought. Immediately he pocketed his phone back and walked over to Lara with a bright smile. "Are you done calling?" asked Vesa who was much friendlier than before. "Got it. Want to take a walk now?" Lara asked back. "Yes, go ahead. I won't take up much of your time," Vesa said. Lara nodded and then started acting as a tour guide there. Even though it has only been seven months since leaving the campus, the campus has changed quite a lot. Vesa reminisced about his campus days. Even though he had a lot of bad memories there, he still had a few good memories so that now he felt quite disappointed again when he remembers the early days of his friendship with Derrick. Derrick was the first to defend him. He was also the first Vesa trusted and even told each other about anything. Really, Ve
Lara Serafin rushed into her campus, Greenwich University. She had promised Gemma Jones last night to accompany her to the library. When she stepped into that place, she had to pass a group of students from other faculties who were seen chatting casually. Lara was really enjoying her new life on campus. Even though at first he felt that there were a lot of things that were so odd like the unclear reasons his mother chose this country. Besides that, her mother, who currently chooses to work from home, certainly made her wonder even more. Her mother, Gea Raharjo, reasoned that working from home meant that she had more time to spend with her. Because of that too, Lara could never protest or ask more about her mother's main reason. And when Lara asked about her mother's occupation, her mother would only say that she was struggling with stocks. What kind of stock it was, Lara didn't know. And no matter how many times she asked, Gea would only answer the same. So Lara got tired of askin
Derrick could only be silent when he saw his best friend leave his house. He glanced at Alea, he really wanted to embrace Alea's body but when he got closer, Alea stepped back. With a face already wet with tears, Alea said sobbing softly, "It's all my fault. My fault, Derrick." Derrick shook his head, "No. It's my fault, Alea. You're not wrong. I made the mess." "I came to you, I am the most guilty," said Alea again. "I asked you to come, I, Derrick," continued Alea. Derrick snapped "And I wanted to come here too. Okay, fine. We're both guilty. We're both guilty." Alea fell on the floor of Derrick's yard, "Vesa must hate me. Even though we are fine. He never hurt me. But why me? Derrick, I'm just annoyed that he never wants to visit me here. Even though it's clear money is not a problem for him. But he is more concerned with his company. I just want the attention. Am I wrong?"Derrick sighed, "We are both guilty. Alya, come home. Sorry, I can't accompany you. I'm going to look f
London was still one of the most populous cities that Vesa has visited. The night view of this city always manages to make Vesa miss. Since the death of his grandparents about seven months ago, Vesa Araya has never visited the city. This was not because he did not want to go to see his grandparents, but because he was busy, which took up quite a bit of time. In the past six months, besides Vesa having to pursue his educational degree, he had to return to managing the company left by his father. He, who may be the child of the richest billionaire in Indonesia, had almost no spare time. So far, it could be said that Vesa's life was only focused on the world of business, education and at the same time tracking down Gea's whereabouts, which he still didn't know about. However, Vesa was not a person who gives up easily, especially since Gea was one of the causes of all the misfortune that had befallen him. Vesa did not stop the search one bit and even expanded it even more. However, the
"You don't want to investigate?" asked Inka then. Vesa was surprised to hear Inka's words, "Investigating? You say it as if Derrick has done something strange." Inka chuckled, "Vesa, that's not what I meant. Well, we don't know what happened there. It could be that he is in big trouble." Inka saw Vesa's brow furrowed. The young man was thinking. "When I got to know Derrick, he wasn't like you. You always say anything. But not with Derrick. You are really close friends, but I think he still keeps secrets or you could say he doesn't always say anything to you," explained Inka. "That's what I know, Inka. I told you earlier. He doesn't always say everything and I never force him to say it. I respect her privacy," Vesa replied. "There you go, Vesa. Why don't you try to investigate. Who knows, he actually needs your help but doesn't say it," said Inka. Vesa thought seriously. He finally gave up. He overcame his ego that wanted to survive and didn't ask Derrick. He had to know Derric
Gea smiled briefly before answering her daughter's question, "Because England is your dream country." Lara was confused but tried to smile, not wanting to bother her mother with her own questions which might make Mother sad. "You'll like it later, honey. You can get into Greenwich University later," said Gea. Lara nodded and then the food came. The young girl who had completed her high school education started concentrating on the food in front of her. "Eat first, Mother, sleep for a while, okay? If you need anything, you can wake Mother up," said Gea again. Lara replied, "Yes, Mother, take it easy. After I eat, I'll go to bed." "Good girl," Gea praised, stroking her daughter's hair gently. Shortly after, Gea was completely closed. Unfortunately, even though Lara from the outside appeared to be enjoying her meal, it was a shame her mind was wandering elsewhere. Lara was still very young, at the age of just turning eighteen, she could think more maturely than her peers. So it's
