Daniel stared at the woman in front of him, he smiled at her. He didn't know why but he felt a kind of connection with this woman.

Daisy’s mom smiled at him. Just then Daniel heard his phone ring. It was a call from Williams. He ended the call and decided not to answer it.

Just then his phone vibrated and a message popped in. It was from Williams.

“Your mom is back and she’s worried about you,” Williams said and Daniel bit his inner cheeks. He had almost forgotten his mom was coming home. He quickly stood up.

“Are you alright son?” Daisy’s mom asked

“Yes, I’m fine ma’am. I need to go now. I need to attend to some important matters” Daniel said with a smile on his face and then the smile on Daisy’s mom's face disappeared. She didn’t know why but she felt so sad Daniel was leaving.

“Why not finish your food first?” She said

“Oh, I’m okay. Thank you for everything ma’am. I’m grateful” Daniel said and Daisy’s mom nodded in response.
