Kai hardly moved an inch, but his mouth opened a little, his tongue peeked out, and licked his bottom lip. Excuse me, but he had no business making that cringy move look so sexy.

I lifted my brow, challenging him to respond. But he was silent.

I moved away a little and walked a couple of steps in the direction of what I supposed was his bedroom door. Because if it wasn’t, what I was going to do would be an epic fail.

I turned my head back to him over my shoulder as I reached around to the back of my dress and started to pull the zipper down.

“Are you going to join me or should I take a look around myself?” I asked.

I breathed a sigh of relief when I stepped through the door into the adjoining room. I found that it was indeed Kai’s bedroom.

I hesitated for only a moment before I tugged on the zipper, careful not to get my hair stuck.
