The Goodbye

Sia sat quietly by the window, staring out into the dark night. The thought of losing her friends burdened heavily on her mind. She had fought so hard to open up to Coco and Leon, to let herself trust them, and now it felt like all of that was slipping away. They were leaving and she would be left alone. Again. It wasn't their fault and she knew that. But it was her heart that betrayed her. It always clung to people who would move on and leave her behind with nothing but empty echoes of their memories.

Coco left the room, announcing that she was going to grab more snacks from downstairs. Leon and Sia were left alone.
