"Make me another one," she ordered, not even looking up. "And toast it properly this time."

Leon clenched his jaw, swearing silently. If it weren't for the values his mother instilled in him—always feed the hungry and never refuse food, he might have lost his patience by now. This woman... did she forget I kidnapped her? She can’t order me around!

But despite his inner frustration, he got up and made two more sandwiches for the insatiable goblin sitting at his table.

Once she finished, Alessia wiped her mouth and looked at him coolly. "Now, go lock up that beast and take me home."

Leon stared at her, fighting the urge to roll his eyes. This was going to be a long day.

“Leon… I’m warning you,” Alessia said in a low, dangerous voice.
