Christina’s POV

“Marvin?” His name slipped from my lips as I couldn’t believe he was standing there, demanding to see me. At first, when I’d seen him, I thought he was here for Scott.

“Christina,” a warm smile slipped onto his face and he approached me, wrapping an arm around my shoulder as I was still seated.

“Why… why are you here?” from the corner of my eyes I could see Scott fuming and seething and it wasn’t helping that I was engaging his brother but I didn’t care as long as I wasn’t doing anything out of the ordinary.

“To see you. It’s been a while and you didn’t show up in school for a week and more. Abby reached out to me and we were both worried so I had to come to check up on you myself, just to be sure you’re fine,”
