Leena's POV

“Has it gotten to that stage?” Lawrence's brows furrowed, staring at me.

“I'm as surprised as you are.” I sighed heavily with my hands clasped.

“If it was just James, he would have continued begging but since his father is among now, it might be tough.” He confessed.

“But I won't let them take my child away from me!” I reminded him seriously.

“That won't happen since we have enough evidence to prove that James isn't a father figure. As for his father, we just have to be smart when dealing with him.” He advised me calmly and I nodded my head.

“Even if I will have to use my last resort, I will do it to make sure my children are protected,” I said vividly, staring at the blank wall.

There was a brief pause between us as he looked at me.

“Hope you are okay.” He asked, raising a brow.

“Yeah, I'm good. Sean has always been by my side and that alone gives me courage.” I said with a smile. He smirked.

“You are really lucky to have a great guy like Sean.” He said with a short chuck
