Vivienne sat still, after an argument with Mauricio which left him like a wounded animal. He stormed out of the room

This gave her enough time to take in her surroundings. She could hear voices coming from outside despite the window being closed.

Vivienne's gaze shifted around. The room was nothing special. Just painted in white and the floor was made of oak wood. She guessed, the place was newly built. It smelled of oil paint.

"Where is that Victor?" she muttered wondering if Mauricio was crazy to hold her hostage all because he wanted to marry her by force. Things were different, Mauricio was a fool to think he would succeed. He was the last man she would marry

He didn't understand what love was. Love wasn't forced, she didn't choose to love Victor, but her heart did. From that very day, she saw him in that restaurant drinking his sorrows away. Her heart ached, all she desired was to take the pain away. To show him that he wasn't alone in the world
