Rosslyn gave him a brief look of confusion before she bobbed her head and started swiping at the iPad in her hands.

After rescheduling the meeting, she looked up and asked, "I'd like to report about the collaboration with the foreigners."

"Go ahead." Kendrick picked up his phone and rose to his feet.

The assistant gave him another confused look. "Are you going to the meeting—"

"We're going to the construction site."
