Chapter 9

Jade POV

I have looked at my watch a few times because until now my friend has not been there. I've been here at the cafe before and she said we'll meet in the afternoon because she has something important to go to, but it's going to be 3 pm now and she's still not here. I'm gonna pull her hair!

I took my phone out of my bag to call her.

"Hey girl, where are you? Do you know how long I've been waiting for you here?" I burst out after she answers the call.

"I'm close to there so don't be in hurry. I told you earlier not to go early," She replied to me.

"Excuse me? It's three o'clock so you might not know. It's afternoon!" sometimes my best friend is annoying.

"I'm here now. You're too hot-headed. See you. Bye!" She said and dropped the call.

That woman! She dropped the call not waiting for my answer.

I just put my phone back in my bag and ordered something to eat while waiting for my best friend to arrive, and I also bought her because I know her favorite.
