Chapter 7

Hailey was annoyed as she was still sitting in Killian's office chair, while the young man was overjoyed because of the girl's visible appearance.

To this day Hailey still hopes that the young man will retract what he said but how many minutes had passed ago he just kept staring at her?

While the young man Killian was very happy because of the visible reaction to the girl, he knew at first that she would not agree to have a fake marriage with him immediately but because he was smart he would use the secret that he learned about the girl in case she did not agree.

Later Hailey looked at Killian. "Are you serious about what you're saying?" She asked the young man.

"Do you think I am joking?" Killian replied.

"Why me? There are so many women out there who want you and adore you. And yet you're choosing me a simple woman and not rich to be your wife, why me? And what if I don't agree?" Hailey asked seriously.

"It's none of your business. Take it or leave it. That's all I can offer you. You pay me after three days or agree to marry me." he replied and stood up in his chair. "I know you Hailey, I know that you will not accept my offer immediately and I'm not the person who will accept as a no answer," he added while smiling at her.

"W-what do you mean?" Hailey asked.

"Hmm, let's say I know your secret, especially the forgery you did just to get into my aunt's restaurant right Hailey Dominique?" the young man said foolishly.

How many times did Hailey swallow because of what she heard, she couldn't quite imagine that Killian would know who she was. For a long time, she hid her last name so that no one else would know but in a flash, the young man would know without any difficulty.

How many minutes had passed but no one tried to utter a word to the two of them, Hailey wanted to tweak herself because if she hadn't come here she wouldn't have had a hard time but she also had no other choice because she knew she couldn't hide in a billionaire who was in front of her.

She looked at him intently. She couldn't quite imagine what would happen when the two of them became married. A deep sigh released from her.

"Fine, I'll agree to marry you, but tell me the truth, Killian. I know I owe you but I am doubting that that's the only reason why you are eager to have a deal with me to marry you because that thing is so impossible. Tell me what's the real reason?"

"You don't need to know, you're the one who has a dept in me and also you want me to keep your secret so you should just follow what I want. Got it?" Killian said.

"That's not fair! I'm going to marry a man I don't even know very well and then I also don't know the real reason. What if you're planning something bad for me." Hailey said and hug herself which made the young man laugh.

"What's funny? Are you crazy?" She added.

"The answer is you! You are thinking dirty things in your mind I don't want a flat-chested woman." Killian's said directly.

The girl's eyes almost rolled in embarrassment. "Jerk! I'm not flatly chested," She defended.

"Just believe in yourself, have confidence that you are not flat-chested." the young man teased her and returned to his seat. 

"So what's your decision? You know I'm a busy person so I don't have time to wait." He added.

"Just wait okay? Don't be so hurry! Do you think it's easy to decide about marrying someone I don't know?" Hailey said while rolling her eyes.

"You can decline my offer as long as you pay me after three days or else you will lose your job." the young man threatened her and returned in signing the documents on his table.

"Fine!" Hailey burst out.

The smile on the young man's lips quickly plastered because of what he heard.

"Good decision Hailey." He said.

"I don't have any choice! Just promise me that no one will know who I am."

"No problem with that, like what I said just agreed to marry me and your secret is safe. I won't put my wife in any danger." the young man said seriously.

Hailey stopped for a moment because of what she heard from the young man's mouth. But she also quickly dismissed it in her mind and reminded herself that all this are just an agreement.

Later, Killian took a folder and placed it in front of her.

She frowned and looked at the young man who seemed to be asking.

"Open it," Killian said briefly.

Hailey immediately followed what he said and opened the folder and took its contents. A paper with a Fake Marriage Contract written on it pierced her.

"What's this for?" Hailey asked confused.

"As you can see, we both agreed to have a fake marriage. So I made this agreement." He answered. "You will get a considerable amount of money from me as payment after o we will never our agreement and we will not see each other or talk again when our agreement ends" He added.

At first, Hailey was not in favor of the money talk that the young man said because she didn't want to lower her dignity for money but she also thought that it would be a big help to her so she had to be practical.

She stared at what was written in the contract and everything was fine except for the one written there.

"W-why do I have to live with you? Can't I just stay in my apartment?" She asked.

The young man shook his head. "Where have you seen a married couple who have different houses? And that's better to make sure you don't run away from our agreement." Killian replied.

"What do you think of me? Psh!" the girl said and looked back at the paper she was holding.

When she was sure that what was written there was correct and there would be no problem, she decided to sign the contract.

After she signed it she put it back inside the folder and handed it to Killian.

"Maybe you won't bother me with what I want to do or what am I doing right?" She asked the young man.

"I don't care what you want to do but make sure you act properly every time we're together so that no one will know that it's all just fake and don't take actions that will tarnish my name." Killian's seriously said, which the girl agreed to.

Later, Hailey said goodbye to go home because she still has work to do and the young man just nodded at her.

'He was so ungentlemanly, he didn't even offer me a ride. What kind of husband he is. Psh!' she whispered as she left the office.

'Duh! You are not his wife. You’re not even married yet but you are imagining things like that. It's just a fake marriage - her mind said.

Hailey strode out of the young man's office and went straight to the elevator but she was shocked to see Killian following her.

"W-what -----" Hailey didn't finish what she was going to say because Killian also entered the elevator and stood beside her.
