"Let's see what will happen to you then. I tried to warn you.”

I groaned as she stepped on my left foot. I writhed in pain as her pointed heel hit my big toe.

Just as I was about to shout Daniella, the door to the room opened and she spat out Mrs. Cooper.

"Cattleya, why haven't you put on your practice shoes yet?" It asked me.

I secretly touched my toe nail and bit my lips to suppress the pain before I tried to stand up as I silently groaned. I almost fell but I was surprised that I didn't fall to the floor.

I felt an arm grab me. When I recovered myself, I immediately stood up properly and faced the person who caught me.

"T-Thank you." I stammered. But not because I am ashamed of the person who helped me, but the pain that I am feeling in my feet. I really hope that my big toe nail won't turn black and die, because I swear— that is so unforgivable.

"The pleasure is mine. Where's your practice shoes?”

When I recognized the man's voice, I quickly looked up at him.
