VIENNA'S CHOICE

When Nicholas came to visit my place as soon as he received my call, he decided to stay with me. I was crying on his shoulder as soon as I saw him. I tried my best to hide all my emotions from him, but I still couldn't and I gave in to the burden inside of me. He listened to my rants and questions. But, there's one question that came from him that made me think twice.

We both sat on the couch and turned on the television to distract me from negative thoughts. We were in the middle of watching the news when suddenly, there was a familiar video being flashed on the screen. I narrowed my eyes while watching and realized that it was the place we were at earlier. It was the bar where Janice, Robert, and I met to have bonded together. Then, I saw William's picture being flashed on the screen, with a headline about him meeting another woman. Nicholas held the remote and was about to turn off the television when I held his hand.

"Don't..." I said coldly.
