Charlotte drove around the ghettos, taking frequent turns,her tyre's moving at snail speed,her eyes fixed on the earthy road in front of her in search of the bastard that fathered her daughter.

My Land Rover pulled up in front of his dilapidated house. My knuckles turned white as I tightened my grasp on the wheel. I peeked at the bungalow in front of me, my brows furrowed. I wore my glasses, took a quick glance at my review mirror to be sure the glasses fitted perfectly. I adjusted the glasses, smiled at my reflection and I stepped down from the car, picked out my purse from the passenger's seat, slammed the door shut and walked towards his porch. Her heels clicked against the porous pavement. I placed a knock on the door. The door creaked open immediately.

“Hello Charles.” I grinned,my eyes locking on him venomously.
