Strategizing tactics

I was taken aback, totally in confusion by Ron's statement. His words sent a shiver running down my spine.

“ Your men are already on their way to abduct Charlotte?." I asked,my gaze broadening in sheer surprise.

If Ron's men were already on their way, It only meant that he had prepared long enough for the operation for him to have dispatched his men into action a few hours after I consented.

What is Ron's interior motive and what does he aim at achieving?

Ron nodded,his lips curling to a slight sinister grin. His legs uncrossed and he leaned forward,his gaze intensifying.

“ I hate to admit but It's too late to take back your words.” He uttered.

My gaze narrowed on Ron but his expression remained impassive, making it hard for me to decipher his thoughts or know what he has up his sleeves.
