Sofia's POV

I woke up feeling hungry, and it was already late at night. My tummy is demanding food. At first, I hesitated to leave the room because I knew Marcus was outside, though I was not sure if he was still awake or asleep.

I sighed and touched the door, feeling numb. I hesitated to open it. Damn! What should I do?

“Damn, I'm hungry,” I muttered. I didn't know if I should go outside or not. I bit my lip and returned to my bed, sitting down.

Damn! What am I supposed to do? I don't want to see that jerk! I lay back on the bed and closed my eyes, my tummy growling.

“Can’t you wait for another hour? I just want to make sure he's not around before we go eat,” I said to myself, feeling stupid.
