Sofia’s POV

The days went well. I’m so happy because Marcus really changed—for now. I don’t know when he changed again. I need to prepare myself if ever he will change. He’s moody as hell.

He’s still the one making our meals every day. And we are not in the same room since I insisted on going back to my room the day Mandy left.

He would ask If I wanted to eat something, and he’d cook it for me. He’s such a caring man now. And I must admit, I am over the moon by his treatment. Today, he went out for his Business meeting out of town, but he’ll be back tonight.

I’m thinking of something to surprise him. I’m here in the kitchen trying to figure out what to cook for him. I remember he liked the beef steak that Mandy and I cooked. He finished the food that night.
