Eumerriah's Point of View

As I descended the stairs of the studio, I immediately heard the noise of people. Everyone was busy preparing for the photoshoot. The clothes I would wear were already backstage, the makeup artist was ready, and even the photographer was standing in front of the set, adjusting the lights. From the corner of my eye, I saw Shaira standing at the side, holding a tablet while keeping an eye on Justine, who was engrossed in his video game. I remembered how she stayed by Justine's side ever since that incident. After seeing the fear in Justine's eyes, I never asked what exactly happened. I couldn’t bear to bring back the pain he felt back then.

As a mother, I chose to focus on Justine’s healing. He hasn’t gone back to school yet; instead, we opted for homeschooling while he recovers. I know he gets bored sometimes, so we let him play video games whenever he’s done with his schoolwork. At least, I know he’s happy, even if he’s not fully healed yet.
