I stared at my system as I watched the press conference Aurora was giving to the world inside the building of Clinton's Empire.

When I married her, I never knew she had an associate with Daniel Clinton but I'm guessing now that my father did.

It makes a lot of sense now because he was practically forcing her down my throat and he was always thinking about the company, not my well being.

I hated him for it. If he had been more forthcoming about his intentions, I don't know maybe I would have given Aurora a chance.

“Hey babe, what time should I fix our reservation?” Katherine's voice filled my ears.

“What reservation?” I pretended not to know what she was talking about.

“Oh come on. Don't do this to me,” she pouted. I hate when she does that.

“Do what? Just tell me what you want,” I said to her.

“You promised me dinner for my upcoming birthday,” she said.

I knew she was lying, I never promised her anything.

“Really, I don't remember doing that,” I said.
