The rain seems to be pouring heavier than the weather forecast predicted. I'm supposed to be on my way down to a construction site but I can't.

I'm stuck at home with my mother and sister, who seem to be having a time of their lives by making mine miserable.

“Mom, I told you. I'm taking a break from Katherine because I can and I want to,” I said to her for the tenth time.

“What do you have against her?” She asked and I cast an annoying look at her

“What do you mean by what I have against her? Huh?” I asked, because I don't seem to understand why she is always supporting her even after we found out Aurora wasn't behind the jewelry theft.

“What does she have on you, Mom?” I asked and my sister Amy chuckled.

“Something funny, Amy?” I asked her and she pouted.

“She doesn't have anything on me. I just think that you should be kind to her considering what she has on you,” she said, turning the tables around.

“I can handle myself mother but I'm not sure you can,” I said to her firmly
