I stared at the one figure in my past, I haven't been able to find. He seems to have disappeared from the face of the earth but right now he is staring at me.

“Miss Aurora,’’ he called out my name again and I felt a rush of anger go through me.

“Don't…call my name,” I thought about yelling but my eyes fell on the beautiful child in front of us.

“I know you must hate me,” he said with his head down, “I didn't mean to say those things all those years ago,”

“It's too late for any type of apology, Steven,” I said, trying to walk away.

“Why are you mad at Daddy,” the child's voice echoed in my ear.

I turned around and smiled at her then looked at him, “you have a daughter,” I said to him.

“She is the reason I said those things. Her mother had a very long labor and the doctors said the only way to stop it was a CS,” he said, almost crying.

“Why didn't you tell me or Jacob at the time. You had to trust Katherine?” I asked him.

“I didn't know it would result in you going to prison. I
