Sonia's point of view...

I felt a chilling sensation on my skin as if someone was vigorously wiping it away, abruptly bringing me out of my thoughts.

With a sudden jolt, I flung open my eyes and sat up, scanning my surroundings in confusion. Where was I?

Wasn't I dead?

He had practically strangled me, hadn't he?

Terrified, I held my breath and turned my head, only to find someone else sitting beside me, gently wiping my forehead.

"You scared me, are you feeling odd anywhere?" a woman's voice echoed in my ears so concerned and caring.

It wasn't that monster I had expected, but instead, it was Savitri Ji, caressing my head and cheek with a comforting touch.

I nodded as a gesture that I was fine.

Finally, I took a deep breath, allowing relief to wash over me as I realized I was still alive. The memory of that monster nearly taking my life flooded my eyes with tears.
