"Why are you doing this to him? Let him go!"

In that tense atmosphere, Daisy tried to stop a police officer trying to handcuff River. She held River's wrists tightly, unwilling if the police put on handcuffs and treated River like a criminal.

"We have arrest warrants and if you obstruct us, you can also be punished for defending the criminal," said a police officer.

But instead of making Daisy let go of her grip, the policeman's words made Daisy hold River's hand even tighter. Glancing angrily at the policeman before her, she said, "Criminal? Who did you say—"

"Daisy."

A soft call with a weak voice that came out of River's mouth managed to stop Daisy's words. The woman turned her gaze to River, and suddenly her heart sank when she saw that River's eyes—which usually always managed to intimidate her—now looked so resigned and helpless.
