An Innocent and Pure White Daisy

"Since that would be my first heartbreak, could you still be nice until the end, even if you don't like me anymore and want to dump me?"

While observing her, River listened to every word that came out of Daisy's mouth. He could feel Daisy's desire to start a new relationship with him, but he could also see doubts in the woman's eyes.

River directed his right palm to touch Daisy's left cheek. Touch it gently and caress it carefully.

"Why should I break your heart? I don't even want to hurt you, Daisy." River said in a whisper that sounded so sincere.

River's words made Daisy feel touched and doubtful at the same time. She believed that at this time River was saying all of that sincerely to her, but she doubted that River could continue to keep his words because it seemed that in this world, no love comes only with happiness without hurt or pain.

But for now, Daisy put aside her doubts and let River's sweet promise make her happy. She touched the back of River's hand still on her cheek.
