" He promised you? After this or before this?" she asked in disdain, pointing at the bruises on her face.

" Lower your voice," Stella pulled her hand as she could see some employees gathering and looking at her from the corner of her eyes.

" Sorry", Karine apologized, realizing she was raising her voice, which was out of anger.

" It's okay, I couldn't..." her speech was interrupted as Karine quickly pinched her; everywhere became quiet suddenly, and the people were back to their work in a flash. Stella immediately kn
