Chapter 32

Alexander's POV

I still remember vividly my encounter with the killer.

Unexpectedly, he dashed at me with the dagger in his hands, but I dogged it in time. His eyes were cold and desperate. I took his arm and twisted it backwards, causing the dagger to fall off his hands. He shrieked in pain. I smirked. He was powerless now. I thought.

I walked towards him in calculated steps. I shouldn't underestimate a killer, he might have another deadly weapon hidden away.

He probably saw that he was no match for me, so he fled. Without thinking twice I shot at him, twice, thrice I kept shooting until his body wasn't moving.

I walked closer to him and he was already covered in a pool of blood.

His eyes were opened wide in shock. I'm sure he never expected to die that way. I pulled off the mask covering my face. He looked old, in his late forties. He probably had kids. I shook my head in pity.

He deserves it. I thought.
