Layla's POV

My mind wasn't at ease with the message I got from Alex. He would never text me like that. It was just too bland.

I decided to call Larry. I need his help right now because a part of me feels Alex is in danger.

He picked the call immediately it rang. “Hi!” I greeted cheerfully. It's been long since I last saw him. Alex had decided to send him off that he could handle things himself, but I know he needs Larry.

“What's up?” He said nonchalantly.

“Are you mad at me?” I asked, pouting my lips. If Alex were here he would have been red with anger.

“I believe boss isn't there?” He asked.

“Yes, he isn't. But I think he might be in danger.” I said, and he fell silent. “Can you help me.”
