Despite Sebastian’s warnings that she should flee the neighborhood to remain safe, Ava couldn’t bring herself to do that. She couldn’t just leave while Sebastian would be in there fighting tooth and nail for his life so she had remained outside, a couple of blocks away from the penthouse inside her car with Kim next to her. They were both frightened to death but they were a lot more worried over what could happen in there, Jake was a highly dangerous man who had nothing to lose and he would be fighting without any restrictions and if Sebastian wanted to keep him down, he might have to do more than heavy punches and that was where her worry came into play.

The police were supposed to be here already, they were to only ones who could tell her what was going on there but they were nowhere to be found.
