Chapter 226

“You’re going to give yourself a heart attack at this point if you don’t sit down before you lose your mind.” Damian chided Sebastian as he paced across the room.

Sebastian ignored Damian as he continued with his pacing, he had tried to relax severally during the past week but it was becoming harder with each passing day. Ava had agreed to talk to him the weekend after he was lucky enough to talk to her at the penthouse but for some reason, she postponed and she suddenly called him out of the blue inviting him to the penthouse for a talk.

He was a pretty good judge of character and he could detect from her voice that she wasn’t too thrilled about the prospect of talking to him but it was something she had to carry out as a result of obligation.

Talks like that never ended well, he had been in her shoes and on the receiving end of many of these kinds of conversations and he knew how it ended.

“I just can’t shake off the way she sounded over the call out of my head.” Sebastian began,
