LUCY

I matched back into the room to replug my phone, then went into the Living room to find Aurelio awake, stretching languidly. God-damned it, this man is fucking hot. I noticed he'd showered and changed into flesh clothes while I was asleep. The white shirt and black jeans he wore gave him that simple vibe, and still made him look more stunning. He sure knows how to wear his clothes because he looks fantastic in both casual and office wear.

"Thanks for arranging my desk."

"It's no big deal. Why did you move me to the bed? I was fine where I was."

"You didn't look comfortable to me. Plus you looked pretty tired." He hushed out almost immediately.

"Well thank you for your concern but I don't appreciate you carrying me to the bed. We had an agreement that I would sleep on the sofa and you on the bed."

"I don't remember making such a deal with you. Listen, Lucie, I don't want to argue about this. It would be wise if we both sleep on a comfortable bed. All we have to do is pick a side and stick to it. I have no desire in pleasuring you unless you want me to. So what's the need of punishing yourself by sleeping on that sofa." He said reasonably

I considered what he just said, and I slowly acknowledged that he was right. Besides I love that bed too much to give it up. Sleeping on it was truly comforting and satisfying. "If you insist I sleep on the bed, who am I to complain." It came out mockingly.

He held my gaze for a brief second, then said out of nowhere, " I'm dead hungry, ain't you?"

"Me too. It's as if I haven't had anything to eat since forever." I admitted. As if to confirm my statement, my stomach bellowed loudly. Embarrassed, I turned away from him. As I turned back to face him, I saw he was struggling miserably not to laugh at me. I gave him the 'oh shut up' look while biting down my smile.

It took a while for him to compose himself, after which he asked, " where do you want to eat? Do you want us to go to the restaurant downstairs? Or should we go with room service?"

I contemplated my choice, before answering, "up here is better. In as much as I want to explore the resort, I think I will wait till tomorrow to feed my eyes."

Aurelio Walked towards the phone, picked it up, and dialed the room service department. He waited a bit to get connected. He pointed to me to hand him the room service book as he greeted the person on the other side of the line. In less than no time, ordered our meals. It took Fourth-five minutes for our food to arrive. Food which I enthusiastically devoured. After I ate to my full, I glanced up and saw Aurelio observing me with a hint of amusement. I cautiously set down my fork and knife on my porcelain china plate, picked up my napkin from its's folder, and gently pat my lips before asking him "spill it out. You've been looking at me with this funny expression. Haven't you seen a pretty woman eat before?"

He laughed quietly, his icy blue eyes not leaving mine." You sure know how to eat. I'd think you would have protested at my choice of food, and just request a plain potato, a green salad, and steamed vegetables."

I laughed nonstop in an unladylike manner. When I was done, I said amusedly "I see you've been hanging out with the wrong set of women who only order what you just mentioned." I bit my tongue, after realizing what I just said, but carried on nonetheless, "l love to eat. That doesn't mean I don't watch what I eat. I also visit the gym frequently."

He nodded, then stood up to clean up. "Let me handle this, after all, you placed the order." I said. When I was cleaning up, I heard him call room service to come to collect the table. A few minutes later, the hotel waiter came with a serving trolley to clean up.

"So do you have your list", he asked out of the blue

"List?"

"The one you said mamma ask you to make."

I was shocked he remembers. I replied coolly, "it's in my handbag. Do you want to go over it? Don't you have work to finish?"

"I do but work can wait. So stop stalling and go get it." He answered unruffled

What has gotten into him? I wondered as I left the room.

As the chapel door slid open, I first took notice of her father as they stepped into the church. I watched my soon-to-be wife walk down the aisle with her dad. Nothing had prepared me for the effect of seeing her in her wedding dress, looking more stunning than ever. As they drew near, I realized that she wasn't just stunning---- she was dead beautiful. She looked ethereal, fragile, and almost innocent. My gaze lingered on her as she strode toward me. She has a slender body with beautiful silky skin. Her eyes were big and sapphire. Her hair was naturally brown. She has a triangle shape- a small bust, narrow shoulders, and full hips. I kept staring at her with slow assessment. I couldn't help but adore his well-trimmed short boxed beards. Tension filled me as Dad handed me over to him reluctantly. AURELIO Lucie's silence was beginning to get to me. The only word she uttered since we arrived had been to the bellboys, who she'd tipped. I sat in the living area and examined her with great intensity. She was leaning against the rail, looking over to the beach's shallow intense turquoise water. She continued ignoring me, even after I slowly walked up and stood beside her. I figured I should leave her alone since she was hellbent on ignoring me, but I couldn't. "Isn't this view incredible?" I said in a husky tone. After a few seconds of noticing she had no intention of speaking to me, I turned her to look at me directly. She just stared at me with a wary look.
