Chapter 97: Sam's visit

“Your heart is beating really fast, Khloe,” Arthur purred, his voice vibrating in her chest, sending shivers to her.

Tension built up between the two as Arthur's intimate feelings seemed to be louder than what he was just saying out loud. The attraction he had for Khloe was undeniable and uncontrollable at this moment.

“Arthur, what are you doing?” Khloe voiced out with her heart racing more than ever. At this point, Khloe too sensed the growing intimacy and was scared of what might transpire if the moment isn't toned down.

Arthur, however, ignored her and still placed his head on her chest area, his hands moving behind her making the butterflies in her belly flutter.

He inhaled deeply and her scent clustered his nostrils.

“You really have a nice fragrance. Your whole body smells so fresh and elegant that I can't help but wonder how you taste,” he commented to make Khloe blush. She couldn't tell if it's a genuine compliment or if he was flirting.

“Um.. thanks?” She coyly said.
