Chapter 73: Trapped and drugged

The morning was quiet peaceful now that everyone was gone. It dawned with a soft golden light, the morning that is. It looked like the world was bathed in tranquil silence, as if nature itself was holding its breath in reverence.

Arthur took another deep breath as he stared out the window, filling his lungs with the fresh morning breeze.

“It's been three days since she has been admitted to the hospital and so far we've gotten hold of Sylvester and dealt with him but the real culprit is still out there,” he said to himself as he stared out the window. Arthur was getting anxious and impatient with everything. He wants everything to happen so fast, so he could see Khloe again. That is if she will ever wake up.
