Chapter 75: Bad feeling

The phone was still in her hands as her jaw was still open. Her eyes widened in shock and disbelief.

“How can he do this? All because Khloe is sick,” Kelly remarked.

“This is totally unacceptable.”

Just as she was surprised, the doctor opened the door and walked in.

“Ma’am we're performing the surgery today. Although further diagnosis has been made and there's a forty percent chance of her waking up,” he informed her, with a sad look on his face.

“We'll start at eight p.m.”

Kelly's heart sank in but she masked her fears and worries with confidence and a smile.

“Oh okay. What else do you need? Any prep?” She asked, putting her phone away. Khloe was more important than anything about the company right now.

“I'll have the nurses do that. Just you wait outside for everything,” the Doctor informed me about heading out. Kelly was still dumbfounded about the news she had just received.

“How can father be so dumb? I am sure Emily forced him to do it. But how can he be so stupid?”
