Chapter 63: “Go ahead, kill me”

Kelly took Arthur home and when they arrived, he immediately went to his bedroom and laid down. His head was really light due to the drink he took, and it was really weighing on him.

“Is everything okay?” Kelly asked which startled him. He forgot Kelly was still with him in the house.

“Yeah. I just had a lot to drink,” he said grudgingly as his head was aching really bad. The room fell quiet for a while before Kelly's footsteps began retreating, she then paused and turned off the light switch.

“Why did you do that?” Arthur questioned.

“I noticed you were tired so I wanted to ease you. Make your muscles relax a bit,” she said, her voice soothing as she walked closer to him.

“Relax?” Arthur repeated, his voice slightly slurred.

“I need to sleep. I want to sleep. My head aches right now,” he complained.

"Okay, sorry," Kelly said, her voice soft.

"I just wanted to help," she said, now her tone is a bit softer than before.

This made Arthur's instincts kick in. But he didn't respond to
