A tiring day but it's all worth it for this young man named Dizen who's sitting down on the passenger seat, watching the street lights as they travelling back to their home and then the car stopped as the traffic lights are now red. Beside him is his best friend Celo who always keep him company whenever he's up to something especially about doing all the things included on his bucket list which is their current errand.
"Are we gonna rest for tomorrow or will run some another errand?" Celo asked, waiting for the lights turn to green.
"I have no idea what is happening in the company since I started to have a leave, maybe I'll go there tomorrow," Dizen replied, not giving a look to Celo.
"But your dad already know your condition and I guess he understands you, he loves you..." Celo paused before he continued, "besides, he can clearly manage the company so what are you worrying for?"
Dizen let out a sigh, "Okay, let me just check my bucket list and see what's next." He stayed silent for mere seconds and then he blurted, "Shit, it's almost done except for this one..." he gazed at Celo who just shrugged his shoulders, waiting for what he'll say next.
"Find a lover," Dizen said in his low-registered voice.
Celo just smirked and tsk-tsked, "Basic. Your a babe magnet, dude, you know it too." He paused, rolling the steering wheel, "We'll just go to a bar and you don't have to wait for ages, you just stand there for seconds and then you'll have a girl who will love you to death."
"I want a different one," he seriously replied.
Celo just chuckled, not convinced on what his best friend said, "You're so used to typical kind of girls and what do you want now? Cheap girls? Or some poor girls messing around the street like-- holy shit!"
Speaking of which, they bumped-- not on a car or truck but a girl or maybe just like what Celo is talking about a while ago-- some poor girl messing around the street.
"What the fuck? Do you even know how to use the brake?" Dizen fussed, all of his tiredness were seemed to be all gone now because of such great consternation happened on their way.
"Of course, Dizen, I know... I'm not dumb." Celo remained calm unlike Dizen who are more likely to have a panick attack whenever a circumstance came up.
"Just shut the fuck up Celo and check out if she's alive!" Dizen even pointed his index finger to the outside direction, almost screamed his lungs out of nervousness and keep praying to God that that girl is alive.
And the Lord seemed to grant his prayer immediately.
"Woah! She's alive!" Celo hollered across the street and Dizen heard that magic word right after he rolled down the window of the car. "Unbelievable."
They watched the girl crawled to get the bottle of alcohol she was drinking earlier. What is she thinking then? Hoping there's still left on it and it's not empty? She stood up, not minding her dirty white dress or even the bruises and small wounds on her knees she got from the accident. She finally made her way into the car.
"Wait, what?" Dizen felt a sense of wonderment as he gazed at the girl approaching the backseat door.
Celo walked with quick steps to get back at the car as soon as possible before the lady make it.
"Why the hell is she doing here inside my car?" Dizen said unluckily, staring at the lady even if he told himself not to stare.
"Aren't you gonna shoo her away?" Celo asked, planning to fasten his seatbelt.
Dizen was silent for a good minute as he thought of what should be his response to his best friend but when he was able to come up to his senses, he threw a gaze to Cello and spoke up, "I think she's drunk, uh... I think... I can't let her go like that."
"Huh?" Celo's face is as crumpled as piece of paper, his brows are almost touching.
"Drive the car, Celo, we're causing traffic." Dizen commanded once he heard loud sound of horns coming from honking vehicles around them.
"Are you sure, dude?" Celo gave him the look.
"Drive." Dizen answered him a head nod.
"I mean you don't even know her... or else..." Celo looked Dizen in the eyes and seemed to understand the thing, "okay, I get it now."
"Go." Dizen shook his head once more, rolling the windows up.
"You like that type, huh? You know it's a crime, bro." Celo said before he started the engine, teasing his best friend using his annoying facial expressions.
"Crime, my ass! Just drive shotgun so we can rest!" Dizen rolled his eyes after a quick fuss.
"It's kidnapping, bro." Celo chuckled, driving too fast but still keeping their safety.
"She looks different and I think she's the fulfillment of my bucket list. I'll just asked her about it tomorrow," Dizen sighed, leaning his head on the seat which the upper portion is made of leather.
"Good idea, you should discuss it with her tomorrow... but wait, are you gonna sleep with her?" Celo gave him a glimpse, minding the road.
Dizen replied but he began stuttering, "I-I don't know... I don't think--"
"Yeah, don't think 'cause how about me?" Celo interjected, "Don't say you'll let me sleep on the floor or on the sofa? Fuck you if you do."
"We'll see." Dizen snickered, secretly gazing at the back to see the condition of the girl. Celo just shook his head as he saw what Dizen doing on his peripheral view, he just let him observe the girl and he keep himself busy driving.
Celo can't stop thinking what Dizen saw with that random girl, he looked again at the lady for a short time and then he saw nothing special on her plus she annoyed him by her constant moans and groans, she might got a low tolerance in alcohol.
Celo sighed, erasing all the thoughts running at the back of his head. The conversation between him and Dizen finally ended when they began to keep quieat. Celo just focused all of his attention on driving the car. He seemed tired but wasn't able to close his eyes until they finally arrived on their place. He pressed his foot on the brake so the car stopped at the front of their gate, waiting for the guard to open it. He drove the car inside when the gate finally opened and now it is being closed by their security guard again.
Once they reached the garage, squeezing and pulling out the key, Celo gave Dizen a look.
"Wake her up, man."
"Oh, right..." Dizen get out of the car, hurrying to open the backseat door.
Celo followed him, "You sure about this, huh?" he asked, watching his friend waking up the girl.
But once he couldn't wake up the girl though he tapped and shook her body for several times, he decided to carry her on his arms and when he turned to face Celo: "Yeah, I think I'll like her," he surely said.
"Poor girl." Celo whispered, trailing behind Dizen.
After some footsteps, they are now in front of the main door and from there, three maids are waiting.
"Good evening, sir." The girl in the middle greeted, who seemed to be the youngest among the three.
"Good evening," Dizen replied back, drawing a cheap smile on his lips. He looked at the girl he's carrying on his arms when the maids noticed her but he didn't got bothered by those stares instead he just threw a question when he gazed back to the three, "Is dad here?"
"He's sleeping on his room, sir." The other maid on the left answered, she's like in her 40's but her posture made her even look ten years younger.
"Okay, excuse me." Dizen started to walk away when the three moved and give him way, Celo is still wordless and just following Dizen footsteps but he almost bumped on his friend's back when he stopped and turned his back to face the maids, "Hey, just don't tell dad that I--"
"Oh, sure, sir!" The three maids answered, plastering a wide grin as it is an assurance that everything is safe and they won't tell any thing about what they saw, "Our lips are zipped, sir!" they said it in chorus.
"Thanks, you have some extra tips from me." Dizen winked as he couldn't give them a thumbs up because he's carrying the girl and she's getting heavier the longer he carry her. "Let's go, Celo."
The three maids couldn't stop themselves from giggling and twittering about that extra tip they will get sooner from mister Dizen. He is not just the son of their boss but he's known by them as a man who is true in his words so there's no way he's just kidding. Not to mention that he is a gallant and chivalrous person when it comes to money.
"Open it," Dizen meant the door so Celo did.
It's just a matter of few steps and he will finally put down the weak body of that drunk girl.
"Did I hit her that hard?" Celo asked himself, watching his friend adjusting the dishevelled sheets.
"You really dare to ask that, huh?" Dizen clapped his palms up and down, turning face-to-face with Celo, "Can she answer you right now?"
"No, she can't. She's unconscious." Celo's fast response, making some little shoulder shrugs.
"Right. So probably you hurt her that bad, tomorrow if she demands about her wounds, we'll take her to the hospital." Dizen turned his back right after he said those words, he's rehashing the pillow to fit it into the head of that sleeping lady.
"Are you mad? Why do you sound like you're his father?" Celo talked behind his back and then he was astonished totally when Dizen faced him, "The fuck, Dizen? What happened to you?"
"What on earth! Obviously, you can tell," Dizen with some sticky white thingy on his face that really smells so bad Celo didn't even want to smell it in his whole life.
"Yeah, you're so damn unlucky." Celo began to snicker, watching his poor friend with his dirty face and clothes.
"This girl! Ugh! How dare you puked on me?" Dizen yelled back at the girl who's now murmuring something and wiping her messy mouth.
He turned to face his friend and ordered him, "Celo, get out of this room!"
"Why?" Celo's brows are almost united, "Are you gonna revenge her while she's powerless?"
"What the? Go downstairs and tell the maids to clean her, clean my room and clean your dirty mind! Now!" He emphasized each of words to make his friend understand it.
"Harsh." Celo is kinda hurt but that ain't for sure.
"Did you hear me?" Dizen asked again with his eyes big, wider than his normal eye size.
"Okay, take a shower, you stinks! Gross!" Celo still managed to tease her friend before running down the stairs.
Dizen walked back towards the girl on his bed as soon as Celo was so out of his sight, "Of course, I stinks and that's because of..." he slowly stepped his feet, observing every details he sees, "...you."
He was not aware that he's been gaping at the girl for some good minutes to the point that his senses gone away cause he could not even hear those loud knocks from the door.
"Sir?" The youngest maid called out him but Dizen was not back to his senses.
"Sir?" The younger maid but the guy still on his fancies to the girl sleeping on his bed so the three looked at each other and nodded to each other. Well now they know what to do just to catch the attention of their boss.
"Sir Dizen!" they said in chorus with enough volume to make Dizen back to his senses.
"Oh! Come here, come here." Dizen's words once he noticed and heard the three. He explained what they will do and right after he instructed the three, he decided to go to the bathroom.
"I will take a bath. I'll leave it to you guys," he turned his back and walked away.
"Yes, sir." The maids started to clean the room and the floor where some of the puke scattered down.
As Dizen making his way to the bathroom, he noticed Celo standing at the door, leaning his elbow to the corner of the open door so he approached his friend and told him to, "Close your eyes, don't peek at her!"
Celo just looked at him and confidently answered back,"It's a no-no for me, bro... she's not my type, she's all yours. Plug her into your lungs!"
Dizen just nod his head and raised his eyebrow, "Maybe shutting the door is a good idea."
He slammed the door. He almost got Celo's face but when he realized he forgot something to tell, he reopened the door, "Go to the salas, wait for me there."
"Why would I?" Celo rebounded.
"Why wouldn't you?" Dizen with his little patience left.
"Don't tell me we'll sleep on the sofa and you will let her sleep in your room? Oh, come on, Dizen, I would be really jealous of that girl." Celo still managed to have some nonsense argument with his best friend.
"Like I care," Dizen rolled his eyes.
"What the fuck did you say? Do you forgot your best friend? Do you... forgot about..." Celo paused when he threw his eyes to the other door, "...the guest room! Yeah, the guest room, hehe!"
Dizen stopped, looking at the closed door of the guest room. Later on his eyes widened and a wide grin came out from his mouth, he faced Celo and said, "Nice idea! You got healthy brain cells, huh?"
"Because... it's right in front of your bed room, yay!" Celo continuously moving his brows up and down, smiling like a happy kid. Why wouldn't he be happy anyways, he almost forgot the time when he slept on that guest room... that luxurious and beautiful guest room rather.
"Yes bitch so go inside the guest room and clean it," Dizen said before he slammed the door and make his way towards the comfort room.
He gave a glimpsed to the maids who is still busy cleaning the sheets and the floor, smiling while continuing to make his way into the bath room. He finally got inside it and he's still good mood. He is kind of full energy even it is past nine o'clock in the evening where a man should be helpless and lame because of a tiring day and rest is the only thing who could bring back the energy.
We don't know why is he like well recharged when he encountered that girl almost a half an hour ago. Well it is not the right time to question his self, maybe it is too early so that he's is just vibing right now, feeling the warm water he chose to have in his shower.
There is only one thing running inside of his mind right now-- he's interested to that peculiar lady.
Dizen is now drying his wet hair after he took a bath but his best friend Celo is now snoring, seems like he's really comfortable with the bed and pillow he has on his sleep. This pretty guest room has two bed so there's no way Dizen would deal with Mister Snore. Once his done with his hair, he stood up and made his way out of the room to return his wet towel to bathroom.Maybe peeking at the lady once again before he sleeps is another reason because why not? Who would have thought it might be helpful or for at least can induce sleepiness. Now he's yawning but he still manage to look at the girl when he got out of the bathroom, he stood there outside the door of his bed room as he watch the girl sleep. His yawns are now a smile which was bigger than his usual and it is one of the unusual thing he did for today. He carefully closed the door and the slid his feet way toward the guest room right
“What's with your voice? Stuttering, huh. Didn't you know your name, did you?” Celo glared at the woman who had just introduced herself and she's Eli, beautiful as her name. Dizen turned his head and caught the staring eye of his best friend, Celo and he started blurting out, “You shut up and ready the car.” “Yeah, right—” panicked Celo, “I mean, that's what I'm suppose to do.” He moved his feet three step backwards before finally turning his back towards the doorway out. “Is it really all right to you?” asked Eli. Dizen who's eyeing the footsteps of Celo, turned to face the woman. “Nope. Seeing you like that isn't all right that's why I'm inviting you to go with us so I can buy you some clothes.” “But I don't have money.” “Don't think about it. It's on me.” “Okay,” she sighed, “I'll pay you soo
“Yeah, you should calm down.” Celo let his guard down as he's so shocked seeing his friend flipped out. Dizen looked at the woman on his side, and the woman crept out a little smile on her lips. Is she feeling nervous or upset on me? Dizen thought. “You both are match made in heaven.” Celo said after he had remained silent, looking and observing what the two is doing. “What a perfect two. You both love to complain. Hope you find peace with each other.” He shook his head and turned his back, making his way toward the pile of dresses. Dizen stepped his one foot forward to argue with his friend who rolled its eyes before cutting their discord in a rude way. “Hope you find a better dress for her or else you'll find yourself dead.” Celo increased the volume of his voice when he turned to the two and talked while walking backwards. “So I'm a nanny now, huh? Not a best
They're just walking their way earlier outside the mall after buying shoes for Eli and some other needs of the guys like tissues and petroleum jelly and they're still walking now but on their way inside Dizen's mansion. “The old man's not around,” Celo after the two waited him to get out of the car. This man really enjoyed being the driver of his best friend. “Yeah, probably busy at the company.” Dizen started to slid his feet away when Celo's at the same pace with him while Eli is just trailing behind. “When will you get interested on it?” Celo continued asking as if there are only him and his best friend around. Dizen tilted his head sideways to glimpse at his friend. “Maybe when crows became white.” “You absent more than you visit your company.” Celo glimpsed sideways to Dizen and then turned his attention to the key he played in his fin
Celo and Dizen's knuckles were a little bit strained as they both gripped on their vintage coupe glass the bartender had served them, gently hefting it up to make some cheers so that the clinking of their glasses now complement the background music inside the club as the burbles of champagne streaming into gorges down to their insides. They both heaved right after they took a sip of their drinks, looking to each other and that's when their smooth talk began. “What did you see on that woman? Why do you still want to find her even if she already dumped you?” Celo asked Dizen, waiting for his friend to satisfy his curiosity. It was running at the back of his head for a long time so he has now got some courage to ask about that matter. Maybe a good answer will do with a better explanation but all he has got was... “I don't know,” said Dizen and he paused for a while, “maybe I was thinking
Darkness were vanished by the light as the sun rises to say it to everyone that the morning has come yet it was so hard for the two, so as their tools who had awakened first than their eyes, to get out of bed but when Dizen remembered what he has to do, procrastination left his head. “Hey! Celo wake up!” said Dizen as he was doing his best to shade the hell out of his best friend who was seem to be barely asleep. “I'm sleeping.” Celo murmured, pulling back the blanket that his best friend holding right now but he is fighting so that he could still cover is timid face of course his body who is still feel cold because of the air conditioner. Dizen snickered, giving up the blanket because he found a new spot to torture. And that was the both ends of Celo's belly witch was known to be his weakest spot and when you poke it repeatedly and again and again, it ticks more than the ticklis
Dizen who is sitting at the passenger seat of his own car but the one who is driving as usual is his friend Celo. As he reclined his seat and put his head on a headrest of his seat he threw a glimpse on his friend that both hands are on the steering wheel of the car and move the other one to enter the key so that the engine is now starting, so is the car right after a mere seconds. Dizen have not said any words toward his friend as he was just want to look at him and then he took back his eyes, close them and then humming a song in his head and sooner came out of his mouth and when his friend come to hear it, he turned on the radio. And now they are both jamming to the song they both like. But little do they know is that the moment they sing was the moment they are a little bit further on Eli's whereabouts. As they sing as the car keep going, when Celo looked at the left side throughout the window he saw the
Dizen is now heading his way out of the car while Celo is needed to park it. He entered the big building which is their company. Everyone that sees him greeted him. He walked quickly until he got inside the elevator which was empty earlier but now there were some employees coming in. After waiting for the last person who will come inside and when there is none, they closed the elevator and select each floor they were going to. Going out of the elevator, working out on his feet just to get in his father's office. Once he reached for the door knob, he twisted it and then once opened it without knocking, he barged inside. “Looks like you aren't sick.” “I am.” His father was just drinking a glass of tequila on his hand. “What? Don't you know I have an important thing to do but I prioritized you because according to you, you are not
