Gabriel's POV

That god-damned forsaken woman really knew how to rile me up. Every single action, every single word, was a clear threat I dared not overlook, or take for granted and I know for certain that one wrong move and my reputation and everything I worked hard to build will be in shambles before my eyes.

I still hadn't left the office since she left. I couldn’t. My mind was In a deep dilemma. With a frustrated sigh, I stood up, grabbed my jacket from the seat, opened the door, and stepped out only to almost bump into Ivan, who was about to come in.

"Ivan! Why are you still here?" I muttered in surprise. "What do you want?"

He seemed nervous; I knew him well enough to tell it was because of my wife's attitude earlier today.

"Out with it, Ivan" I urged as I locked the door behind me.

"Erm... Mr. Moreno, I've been thinking about your wife's earlier actions. Looking at it and considering what's on ground, It seemed like a manipulative move. I wanted to see if you're okay."
